School Policies

1. The students are reminded to strictly adhere to and meticulously follow the code of conduct for them.
2. Every Pupil must have a copy of the school hand book with them and bring it to the school every day.
3. The school uniform is compulsory on all school days.the pupils are requested to come to schhol neat & tidy.
4. Except in language classes, only English must be spoken in the school.
5. All are expected to be present before the warning bell at 9.10a.m. for the assembly and at 12.50 for the afternoon session.
  (a) .The warning bell before the class in the sign for all to go to the assembly or to their respective class-rooms. This should be done in silence. As soon as they are in class, pupils should get ready for each period.
(b). Strict discipline should be maintained in the school campus.
6. While moving from class to class pupils shall march silently in line.
7. No pupil should enter the class after the lesson begins without the permission of the teachers, nor should he/ she leave the class without the permission of the teacher.
8. For the students of X and XII, taking leave even for half day, written permission of the principal must be sought and they must submit their filled absentees slip duly signed by their department teachers.
9. No pupil should disturb other classes at work on the filmsy plea of taking a pen, pencil or book on loan from his friend.
10. Irregular attendance, frequent failures in submitting class exercise, habitual want of discipline or any sort of serious misbehavior are sufficient reason for the dismissal of the student.
11. No pupil is allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours without the principal’s permission.
12. No books (other than school books), newspapers or periodicals should be brought to school without the knowledge of principal.
13. Every pupil must behave respectfully towards the members of the staff.
14. Pupils must be polite and courteous and greet teachers, elders and guests.
15. Pupils must behave well at all time in all places both inside and outside the school. No loud shouting or whistling is allowed in the school.
16. Students should neither borrow nor lend money nor should they exchange the articles.
17. Appointments with teachers are sort only through the principals.
18. Students should have respect for school property. They should not damage school furniture, write or draw on the walls, scratch or spoil desks or chairs. Any damage of the school property will have to be compensated. They shall not damage things which belong to others. They are requested to keep the class room neat and tidy.
19. Genuine respect and love towards teachers are important values in our Indian tradition of teacher – student relationship. When the teacher enters the classroom, the pupils shall rise and greet and remains standing till they are asked to sit or the teachers takes the seat.
20. Playing in the classroom is prohibited.
21. Costly and fancy ornaments are not to be worn.
22. Books are to be neatly covered and labeled. It is desirable to label all belongings including shoes, pencil boxes, water bottles etc.
23. The school is not responsible for the goods lost. It is not advisable to bring valuables (like expensive watches, fountain pens or gold ornaments) to school.
24. Cycles must be kept locked.
25. Before the commencement of classes and during the intervals pupils are not allowed to play any indoor/outdoor games within the campus.
26. Pupils from one class are not allowed to be in the other classes during interval times.Students are expected to move quietly and silently along the verandah.
27. Cleanliness is expected from every child. Their dress, hair etc., have to be kept neat and tidy.All children should be particularly careful not to throw any paper or any waste articles in the class room or in the school premises.
28 Pupil should see to it that their hair and nails should be properly trimmed at regular intervals.
29. It is left to the description of the management to admit the pupils staying with the guardians, or in hostel run by agencies other than management of the school, or lodges or in similar institutions.
30. Pupils will be taught computer from First standard onwards.
31. Students have to be in their full uniform during the school hours. If the students are found wandering about in their uniform and when the information comes to the school authorities, it will be informed to their parents and he will be severely punished either by being suspended or dismissed.
32. The institution takes the responsibility for the students within the school premises, but not for any incident taking place outside.
33. Pupils may change their place in the classroom only with the permission of the class teacher.
34. Students should wear uniforms everyday as per the school regulations given to them except when Saturdays become working days.
35. In the absence of any teacher, the class leaders will look after the order and discipline of the class and report the same to the principal.
