Habits Die Hard

Special requests to Parents

No school can achieve its optimum results without the co-operation of the parents. Your  responsibility does not cease with admission of your child into school. You are only sharing a part of your responsibility with the school management.

Hence

  • Parents are requested to go through the hand book carefully, acquaint themselves well with the rules and regulations of the school and ensure that their children abide  by them, courtesy good manners, honesty, hard work. Good behaviours are all to be developed and nurtured by the efforts of the parents themselves.

  • Parents are welcome to meet the principal or the concerned subject teachers as often as possible to know the progress of their children. They should come to school to collect the progress report cards regularly.

  • Children suffering from infectious diseases are sent to the school only after complete healing and only with a proper Medical Certificate.

  • When parent-teachers meetings are arranged, parents must attend them without fail, meet the concerned teachers and discuss their children’s performance.

  • If a child finds it extremely difficult to cope up with the studies, in spite of all  effort by the school and the parents then in the interest of the child, the parents must make alternative arrangement for his schooling in another  system of education.

  • Parents or guardians are not allowed or visit their children or interview the teachers during the school hours, without the written permission of the principal.

  • Parents will ensure that :

1. Fees are paid on schedule.

2. Children are attending school in the prescribed uniform and with  the    required books.

3. Children are getting enough time at home for preparing their lessons and doing their assignments.

  • Mid-term tests and terminal tests are obligatory. Any student who absents himself, except in the case of inability due  to sickness, runs the risk of being detained in the same class. Requests for  retests will not be considered.

  • All correspondence from the parents to the school should be made through the principal. Any complaint about the pupil’s education should be reported to the principal.

  • If leave is required, leave letter is to be sent early enough and permission obtained. Absence of children from classes for social function is not recommended because it retards the child's progress in the school and minimizes his respect for regular hard work with consequent failure in his studies.

  • Fees once paid will not be refunded. The fee card must be produced during the payment. Late or non-payment may result in the student being debarred from examinations.
